Innovsky together with the Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Volvo held the first Innovation Circle in Portugal.
This format, developed by the Swedish group Innovation 360, brings together business leaders and innovation experts with the aim of fostering collaboration between different organizations in the area of innovation and enhancing business results.
The event started with two presentations, where the participants, in addition to being abreast of the most recent developments in the area of innovation management, had the opportunity to learn about some of the initiatives that Volvo is developing in an industry in deep transformation.
This was followed by a small challenge in which, taking advantage of the great diversity of the participants, 37 possible solutions were developed, thus demonstrating the potential for creativity that is obtained by fully exploring diversity.
At the end of the Innovation Circle, participants were asked to analyze their organization’s innovation capabilities, which were determined based on the survey previously answered by each participant.
For each of the most important topics, participants had the opportunity to discuss among themselves the different approaches that each organization applies, thus fostering the sharing of experiences between different industries.
With this first Innovation Circle, Portugal joins Sweden, United States of America, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia as countries where the format has already been applied to enhance the development of the innovation ecosystem.
